Dance is a popular subject at Malbank School & Sixth Form College and is delivered from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE. Students continue the subject through Applied Performing Arts at AS/A2 Level specialising in Dance for their practical examination.

EXPERIENCES? Students have had local, nantional and international professionals such as Ascendance REP deliver workshops, on-site, in the school's purpose-built dance studio, worked with West End professionals in Pineapple Dance Studios as well as perform in local and national venues.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

At GCSE Dance is offered as both an in-school qualification resulting in a GCSE and, for students wanting an extra GCSE, as an after-school class. Students combine dance with other Performing Arts skills in GCSE Performing Arts as well as specialise in Dance in AS/A2 Performing Arts (Applied)
